Welcome to Start 2 Continue’s changelog newsletter, where we update you on everything going on with us each month and share helpful insight to improve your personal and professional life.
This month’s update is even lighter than the last. Despite this, there’s been a lot going on but we’re not ready to share just yet. Still, big things are coming.
A special thank you to the newsletter subscribers and S2C’s clients. It’s been a pleasure working with you and creating things together.
Thought of the Day
“Don’t hope for a life without problems. There’s no such thing. Instead, hope for a life full of good problems.”
Your brain is very good at recognizing patterns. So much so that, depending on the thoughts and scripts that keep replaying in your skull, your brain hones its ability to search for what you think about. For instance, if you’re constantly focusing on the negative, you’re training your brain to look at the negative. This is true in reverse where if you focus on the positive, it’ll find more positive things.
Unfortunately, people misinterpret this as needing to be positive all the time and deny yourself (and others) the chance to feel bad about something. There’s a term for that: toxic positivity. And just as that sounds, not allowing yourself to acknowledge the problems life doles out at times and the emotions that come with them, you’re denying yourself the chance to work with these problems for what they are in a more honest capacity. Otherwise, it’s simply telling yourself “this is fine” as everything falls apart around you and shirking accountability for that because “the vibes are off” (TikTok therapyspeak has ruined us, I fear).
But problems are only bad if you let them get worse. Arguably, problems are what make life interesting as it’s the universe’s way to call you to action. Just like the old maxim that smooth seas don’t make for skilled sailors, how you handle adversity is what helps shape you; knowing how to handle adversity and who you want to be then allows you to have a bit more choice over what problems you face.
And while you often don’t have a choice in what cards life keeps dealing you (and the problems that come with it), you do have a choice with how you react to them. After consistent practice, what used to be overwhelming is easily handled (remember when you first learned to tie your shoes or drive a car or some other example)… and handling these things allows you to focus on the bigger (and often more interesting) problems.
Please reflect on the following:
What problems do you not like having?
What are versions of those problems that you’d rather have? For instance, a wealthy person and a poor person both have money problems… which would you prefer?
What are some problems or obstacles that used to feel overwhelming but now you handle them very well now? How did you solve those problems or make them so manageable?
Content You Might Have Missed
We don’t have any new content but that’s about to change this month. Stay tuned.
Discord Community Updates
New Arma Reforger Server (With Another Potentially on the Way): We purchased a 40-slot Arma Reforger server and started hosting weekly events. The events and the buzz they’ve generated have become so successful that we’re thinking of getting a second 40-slot server soon (hopefully this month) where one server is used for public gameplay and the other is for events and planned scenarios and campaigns.

Local Events Calendar
Local events are coming back in March 2026. We’ll have events scheduled after the first week of March on our homepage so check back soon!
If you’re a local business or organization in Whatcom or Skagit County in Northwestern Washington that’d like us to post your event on our calendar, please reach out to us through our contact form.
Until Next Time!
Part of me didn’t even want to post a newsletter since there’s just been so much going on (and I’ll share about that as we get into March). But in the spirit of having problems we’d rather have, practicing consistency and having a better understanding of what content to make is what I’m working on right now.
As always, keep being awesome,
